We want to reach the immigrants to help them maintain whatever it is that made them want to come here.
As a part of this ministry, our members help immigrants by conducting workshops on how to prepare for the citizenship test and how to gather information needed for applications. We also lead other workshops that explain legal processes and what rights immigrants have under the law.
“These are events that we encourage everyone who is interested in becoming citizens or has questions about their status to come out,” he said. “[We] try to make things as clear as possible for them.”
